Electromagnetic radiation is an intrinsic property of life phenomenon of the human body, and may symbolize the human Qi purported by Traditional Chinese Medicine.Based on this standpoint, elucidation is given to the scientific connotations of the basic theories of Traditional Chinese Medicine. The Theory of Channels and Collaterals:The electromagnetic radiation field within human body is characterized by non-local interference, resulting in interfering phenomena throughout the human body. The interfering beams form a whole network of solidarity, distributing strips (beams) of varied intensity on the surface of body. The beams carry corresponding biological information, and link the tissues and organs within the body. The Theory of Viscera:While mutual interference characterizes the electromagnetic fields induced by the electromagnetic radiation within human body, the quanta of the fields have the function of information transference, working as an informant for communicating information between tissues, organs, cells, biological molecules, etc, and playing an important role in transferring information for life movements. Therefore the quanta of human body are the Qi Informant for the regulation and adjustment of the viscera network in Traditional Chinese Medicine. The Theory of Heaven-human Correspondence:The earth biology exist in the spatio-temporal electromagnetic fields, which can be considered as the so-called Qi of the heaven and earth. The correspondence between the heaven and human beings is the mutual resonance between human body and spatio-temporal electromagnetic radiations. The theory of Zheng Differentiation Based Therapeutics:The Zheng in traditional Chinese medicine is a status of the quantum fields resulted from the electromagnetic radiation of the human body.Therapeutics based on the differentiation of Zheng is a therapeutic principle purposing health recovery through adjusting the status of the electromagnetic radiation fields within the human body.Constructing the Notion of Quantum TCM:Guided by the TCM holistism and dialectics, theoretically based on modern sciences including quantum theories, with the standpoint that the electromagnetic fields within human body are the Qi, utilizing the quantum forms of electromagnetic radiation, photon (quantum) radiation, energy (caloric), etc to study and explain the sciences within the traditional Chinese medicine frameworks that are concerned with human health and the development of diseases and their prevention, diagnose, therapy, rehabilitation, and healthcare.
