    Objective To study morphological change of lymphocyte nuclei in irradiated persons in Chernobyl nuclear accident.Methods Select peripheral blood lymphocytes from irradiated person in the Chernobyl nuclear accident as experiment group to be stained by routine Giemsa method and take 500 cells from each under microscope as samples,observe and record the different pattern morphological changes of lymphocytes nuclei.Results There are lymphocytes nuclei which have tail in the irradiated persons.According to the different morphological features,describe and record 16 different patterns for the lymphocytes nuclei.Conclusion The lymphocytes nuclei which have tail in the irradiated persons and probably a marker of irradiation.

    Objective To observe the hematopoietic protective effect caused by SN Qiangsheng Capsule on the pathological mice.Methods The mice were randomly devided into five experimental groups;the normal control group,the control group,the Egui control group and the drug dose size group.The experimental mice were irradiated with 60Coγ and given injections of cyclophosphamide to make bone marrow suppression models.Drug group was given different doses of oral medicine,meanwhile,the normal control group and control group were given saline.The weights were measured before and after the experiment.The blood was tested on the 7th and the 14th day.On the second day of stopping using drug,the mice were killed and the nuclear bone marrow cells were counted.Results SN Qiangsheng Capsule would make the Hb,RBC,WBC and PC caused by 60Coγ radiation and cyclophosphamide reduced significantly,and the number of bone marrow cells increased more significantly than that of the control group.The differences were significant (P<0.05)(P<0.01).Conclusions SN Qiangsheng Capsule can significantly stimulate the function of bone marrow,and have certain fundation of anti-radiation.

    Objective To provide important basis for the scientific,accurate and effective of use Plumbum block and multleaf collimator in mult fixed fild shapping 3-dimensional conformal radiation therapy;to better handle dose relations of tumor tissues and around normal tissues,so as achieve maximum therapeutic effect and radiation damaged to the minmize the surounding normal tissues and organs.Methods To analyze and compare the fitness of measurement radiation leakage dose rate、marginal dose rate of 1cm of irregular borders,physical penumbra,quality assurance and quality control.The size of tumor planning targetvolume on CT scanning direction which is different from integer times of leaf of MLC of Plumbum block and multleaf collimator and each theraputic time in mult fixed fild shapping three dimensional conformal radiation therapy.Results Plumbum block and multleaf collimator both have different advantages and disadrantages in mult fix fild shapping three dimensional conformal radiation therapy.Conclusion The results of theis study may be used to guide the application of Plumbum block and multleaf collimator in mult fix fild shapping three dimensional conformal radiation therapy.

    Objective To observe the preventive and therapeutic effect of Prednisolone in radiation injury of lungs.Methods 45 male New Zealand white rabbits were randomly divided into three groups with 15 in each;the blank group (a),the irradiation group (b) and the group with irradiation and Prednisolone (c).Group (a) has no other treatment.Group (b) was given injectons Sodium Chloride on the first day of irradiation,with 0.1 ml/kg/d for 4 weeks.Group (c) was given intraperitoneal injections of Prednisolone on the first day of irradiation,with 0.4 mg/kg/d for 4 weeks.CT scanning was performes before irradiation and the 1,3,5 months after the irradiation.The animals were killed by cutting off the neck after 1,3,5 months of radiation.The right lungs were removed to give HE staining and immunohistochemical staining for the histological evaluation.Results No significant changes were found in group a in CT scanning.The pathological chages in group c is less than serious than those in group b.Group c is less serious than in pathological changes those in group b.Immunohistochemical results;One,three,and five months after irradiation,the number of positive cells were highest in group b,and was significantly higher in group c than in group a.Conclusion High dose irradiation of the lung of New Zealand rabbit tissue can successfully abtain the established radiation-induced lung injury animal models.Prednisolon can reduce the radiation-induced lung injury in rabbits New Zealand,and has a certain preventive effect.

    Objective To study the effect of Rana Japonica Oil Compound Granules on the expression of TGF-β2 mRNA in the liver of the microwave radiation rats under hypergravity environment.Methods The models of Wistar rats under synergistic action of hypergravity environment and microwave radiation were established and intervened 14 days with Rana Japonica Oil Compound Granules to examines the expression of TGF-β2 mRNA in the liver from each group of rats by RTPCR.Results Compared with blank control group,the expression levels of TGF-β2 mRNA in the liver increased significantly in hypergravity radiation experimental group and hypergravity radiation after compound granules protection group (P<0.05) and significantly;decreased in compound granules experimental group and hypergravity radiation before compound granules protection group (P<0.05) and slightly decreased in hypergravity radiation In compound granules protection group,but no statistical significance (P>0.05).Conclusion Synergistic action of hypergravity environment and microwave radiation may strengthen the expression of TGF-β2 mRNA in the liver of rats;Rana Japonica Oil Compound Granules may reduce the expression of TGF-β2 mRNA in the liver of the normal rats and the microwave radiation rats under hypergravity environment.

    Objective To optimize of radiation protection in oil and gas-field logging to control occupational disease.Methods By studying the processes well logging and investigating the variation workers' distribution in radiation field,a model was used to calculate the radiation dose.Results The calculaion results could be compared with that of the individual monitoring.Conclusion The present study can be a reference for the practical design of radiation protection in oil and gasfield logging.

    Objective To investigate the radiation protection effect of Parmelia tinctorum preparations in dosage,drug administration time,administration methods and different preparation methods on acute radiation-injured mice,and find out the best therapeutic project.Methods Kunming mice were injected (ip) with 10 mg/kg,20mg/kg,40 mg/kg,80 mg/kg of Parmelia tinctorum preparations before irradiation respectively,then irradiated by 9 Gy 60Coγ-ray.The 30-day survival rates and the protection factors were observed.By the same method,another group of mice were injected (ip) with Parmelia tinctorum preparations at 15min,30min,1h,2h,4h before irradiation respectively,the 30-day survival rates and the protection factors were observed.The protective effect of Parmelia tinctorum preparations from intramuscular and oral routes were compared with the same method.The protective effect of Parmelia tinctorum water extract preparations and alcohol extract preparations were compared.Results A certain dosage (20-80 mg/kg) of Parmelia tinctorum preparations could greatly improve the 30-day survival rates and the protection factors of radiation-injured mice.Parmelia tinctorum preparations had significant therapeutic effect on 60Coγ-ray radiation-injured mice at 15min-1 h before irradiation.Administration of Parmelia tinctorum preparations by intramuscular injection showed a little lower efficacy than by intraperitoneal injection,but administration the same dose orally had no significant radiation protective effect.Parmelia tinctorum preparations extracted by water injected (ip) before irradiation had the same radiation protective effect with those extracted by 50% alcohol.Conclusion Parmelia tinctorum preparations have a certain protective effect on acute radiation-injured mice.The best therapeutic project is injected (ip) with 40mg/kg of Parmelia tinctorum preparations at 30min before irradiation.

    Objective To study the toxicity effects of ELF EMFs on the male reproductive system,we observe the effect of the ELF EMFs on the male rats'serum reproductive hormones exposed to different parameters and different contact time.Methods 100 healthy male adult rats are randomly divided into control and experimental group.The experimental rats are exposed to electromagnetic fields in accordance with the design requirements.After a period of time,we take the blood and control group rats respectively,and then take the serum after solidification.We use methods of radioimmunoassay (RIA) to detect the testosterone (T),estradiol (E2),follicle-stimulating hormone (FSH),luteinizing hormone (LH),and so on.Results The serum concentration of T,E2,FSH,LH decrease,with exposing parameters and longer contact time.Conclusion The ELF EMFs influence the concentration of blood serum T,E2,FSH,LH of the adult rats,and cause the concentration of T,E2,FSH,LH to decrease for varying degree,affecting the adult male rats reproductively.

    Objective To discuss the measurement of thorium lung burden and its preventive function for pneumoconiosis.Methods Exhaled thoron activity was measured by a negative high voltage electrostatic collection and measurement system.Pneumoconiosis were diagnosed by double-blinded method.Results 50 out of 275 miners suffered from 0+ pneumoconiosis.The result showed that if one's thorium lung burden reached 756mg,the pneumoconiosis of stage 0+ would be induced.Meanwhile the result of 7 year-follow-up study on a miner suffered from pneumoconiosis stage I indicated that 44% of the residual lung burden was clearing with a half-time of 112 days.However,the half-time of the second phase was~7 000 years.Conclusion The measurement of thorium lung burden could help the prevention from pneumoconiosis.

    Objective To preliminarily evaluate the reliability and validity of the NRPES.Methods NRPES,SDS and SAS were applied to assess the psychological sate of 352 soldiers,80 soldiers were randomly selected to determine with NRPES again,which at last contribute to assess the reliability and validity of NRPES.Results The satisfactory reliability and Cronbach a coefficient respectively were 0.756 and 0.698.The sixth and eighth factor of the principal component analysis are combined together to a new factor,the results indicate the constructive validity is adaptive to the primary design of the questionnaire.NRPES and its 7 factors have a greater significant relation and the correlation coefficient which is from 0.569~0.878.There is a great significant correlation between the NRPES,factor x1,x2,x3 and SDS,SAS,the correlation coefficient of which are over 0.5.Conclusion Though NRPES has some shortcomings,which need to be improved late,NRPES has a better reliability and validity through the preliminary checkout.

    Objective To introduce the sequential substitute calculation law to calculate the design thickness of radiation shield.Methods Using the sequential substitute calculation law to calculate the shield design thickness of radiation protection according to the relevant formula.Results To calculate the thickness of shielding design by sequential substitute calculation law is both simple and time-saving,and the obtained results are precise.Conclusion the sequential substitute calculation law is fit for calculating the shield design of radiation protection.

    Objective To establish the estimation model to evaluate the radiation level at the ambience of 60Co radiotherapy treatment room.Methods The estimation model derives from NCRP REPORT No.151-"Structural Shielding Design and Evaluation for Megavoltage X-and Gamma-Ray Radiotherapy Facilities" by making appropriate adjustment,which presents the calculation methods on radiation level at the ambience of megavoltage medical electron linear accelerator treatment room.Results The application scope of estimation model from NCRP REPORT No.151 is extended to γ-radiotherapy facilities,and it can be regarded as a new model for calculating the radiation level at the ambience of 60Co radiotherapy treatment room.Conclusion The estimation model has certain reference value to evaluate the radiation level at the ambience of 60Co radiotherapy treatment room.

    Objective To study the different influences on the growth of the offsprings of SD rats receiving different low doses of irradiation in the whole pregnant period.Methods To establish SD pregnant rat models receiving different doses of X-ray and observe the impact of irradiation on the growth of the offsprings.Results Low dose rate of 0.015mGy/d and 0.03mGy/d could promote the development of offsprings in a certain extent,the group with dose rate of 0.06mGy/d had little difference.While the group with dose rate of 0.09mGy/d presented holdback in growth.Conclusion Prenatal exposure to low dose radiation X-ray might promote growth of the offsprings.With the dose increasing,this exciting response gradually weakened,and at last presented obstacle response.

    Objective To bring forward a novel quantity which is used to be taken as effective dose in helical multi-slice CT scan and to validate it by experiment.Methods Dot chamber and pencil-chamber were used to measure the doses which were performed under axial mode and helical multi-slice mode.Then the readings of doses were compared and analyzed.Results The dose reading from dot chamber was close to the one from pencil-chamber under axial mode.The ratio is 1.14 for the readings from dot chamber under two scan modes and is 2.88 for the readings from pencil-chamber under two scan modes.Conclusions The dose measured from dot chamber is an effective quantity to be taken as effective dose.However it is insufficient that the CTDI and DLP be used to be taken as effective dose as the limitation of pencil-chamber in length.

    Objective To investigate the influences for nano selenium on the immunoregulation and antiradiation.Methods Mice were fed nano selenium at dose of 2.5μg/kg、5.0μg/kg、15.0μg/kg for 30 days.9 indexes were observed to detect the effect of nano selenium on immunoregulation and antiradiation in mice.Results Nano selenium could stimulate the response of delayed hypersensitivity.The proliferation of ConA-induced mitogenic response for spleen lymphocyte was also increased.Nano selenium could increase the amount of hemolytic antibody in serum and enhance the ability of macrophagocyte phagocytosis significantly as compared with the control group.When mice were exposed to 60Co-γ ray,nano selenium could increas the number of white blood cell,the DNA content of bone marrow cells,and SOD activity.Conclusion The results indicate Nano selenium can improve cell-mediated and humoral immune function and mononuclear phagocyte activity significantly,and protect the mice from radiation injuries.

    Objective To study radiation dose effect on three primary colors chrominance in Tracid Brilliant Red B solution.Methods To prepare aqueous solution in different concentration of Tracid Brilliant Red B which isirradiated by 1.5~13.5kGy 60Coγ ray and get data from the solution by special instrument which can detect three primary colors information.To analyze,manipulate,draw curves for the experiment results.Preserve the irradiated sample two weeks in summer environment and repeat the process above.Results The experiment result show three primary colors chrominance in the aqueous solutions changes by different doses 60Coγ-rays and different concentration Alphaurine A.The red chrominance gradually decreases as the radiation dose is added,the green chrominance gradually increases at the same time.The red and green chrominance changes evidently and trends adversely.The blue chrominance changed little.Conclusions The experiment demonstrate that radiation dose can be studied based on three primary colors chrominance,it shows that more study subjects be carried out by this methods.

    Objective To observe the effects of rituximab (R) on cell death induced by X ray irradiation in Raji lymphoma cells and to evaluate its relationship with the intracellular production of reactive oxygen species (ROS).Methods Raji cells were treated with low concentration of H2O2,rituximab (final concentration,20mg/L) for 24 h prior to irradiation (0-10 Gy) or were treated with H2O2 combined with rituximab for 48 h.Cell survival was determined at an appropriate time point after treatment by the sulforhodamine B (SRB) test.The cells apoptosis with acridine orange-ethidium bromide (AO-EB) double staining were examined by fluorescence microscopy.The accumulation of ROS was assayed using 2',7'-dichlorofluorescein diacetate (DCFH-DA).Result Compared with irradiation alone,the cell growth inhibition in Raji cells was enhanced by rituximab and irradiation combination treatment.The ID50 were 2.80 Gy and 5.58 Gy for rituximab+irradiation and irradiation,respectively.Low concentration of H2O2(20μM or 40μM),though non-cytotoxic,increased the radiosusceptibility of Raji cells in an concentration dependent manner.Rituximab in combination with irradiation induced an increasing intracellular ROS level and apoptotic cell death.An antioxidant,N-acetyl-L-cysteine (NAC),significantly attenuated the combination treatment-induced cell apoptosis.In addition,rituximab sensitized Raji cells to intracellular oxidative stress by H2O2,which showed the enhancement of cell growth inhibition and the increasing cell apoptosis.Conclusion Rituximab harbors a significant in vitro radiosensitising effect by inducing significant cell apoptosis in Raji cells.ROS,serve as intracellular signaling molecules,probably play an important role in this event.

    Objective To investigate the effect of mobile phone radiation on the gastrointestinal function of mice.Methods To divide 60 healthy male mice randomly into 6 groups,i.e.3 experimental groups and 3 contrast groups.At the point about 5-cm in the middle under the cage of the experimental groups,a cell phone was placed respectively to let the mice be exposed to phone radiation.After a period of 60 days,the intestine progradation rate,helianthin residual rate and xylose absorption value of mice were measured.Results The experiment results indicated that 2 groups show no significant difference in helianthin residual rate and xylose absorption value (P>0.05),but a striking contrast in intestine progradation rate (P<0.05).Conclusion Under the effect of radiation of the mobile phone,the intestine peristalsis of mice was seen to be weakened yet their gastric emptying and intestinal absorption functions remained unaffected in this case.
