    Objective To measure the take voltage and exposure time of diagnostic X-ray machine.Methods It based on the technology of semiconductor and computer.Results A novel digital kVp meter has been developed.Conclusion The meter can measure the quantities such as instantaneous kilovolt (kV) peaks,time-integrated effective kVp,exposure time and heavily filtered radiation wareform with a single exposure.

    Objective To measure the exposure doses to the personel after implanting Iodine-125 seeds into the simulated human-body,phantom.Methods The exposure dose rates were detected by FD3101 gamma-dosimeter at the phantom surface and the locations at 30 cm and 100 cm from the phantom,respectively.Extensive dose equvalent measurements were performed at various organ locations in the phantom,using TLD dosimeters.Results All results were listed in table 1and table 2.Conclusion Exposure doses have been measured and calculated after Iodine-125 seeds implant.They are much lower than those presented in national standards.it is believed that Iodine-125 seeds permanent interstitial implant is promising radiotherapeatic application.

    Objective To determine the approximation of backscatter property of human body by stimulation phantoms commonly used in medical diagnostic X-ray dosimetry.Methods To measure and compare the backscatter factors of various kinds of phantom and human body under the identical projection conditions.Results In the lower energy region,the backscatter property of PMMA is close to that of human body,and in the higher energy region the backscatter property of water is close to that of human body.For the general X ray examinations on chest and abdomen.The dose due to the backscatter rays is about 40% of the dose of the primary rays.Conclusion A standardized phantom used in QC in radiography is a commitment phantom,for which the purpose is to harmonize the method and to make easy to compare the measurement data.

    Objective To intruduce the principle,structure and character of a new personal neutron dosimeter.Methods In combination with relative documents,the dosimeter datum measured on neutron and γ rays emitted by 241Am-Be source,when 6LiF (Mg,Cu,P) and 7LiF (Mg,Cu,P) are disposed,are evaluated.Results Its measurement results showed good linear relationship and can be repeated.The sensitivity of neutron detection is 0.72 times of 60Co γ rays and this result is similar to that to be reported previously.Conclusion The measurement results of this dosimeter has been satisfied with the requirement of personel dose measurement in n or n-γ radiation field under 4.4 MeV energy.
